We really enjoyed the meal: she had grilled grouper; I had the catfish finger lunch special. Sides were cooked well. Great service too. Only negative was where we were seated was right next to the entry where patrons lined up for seating and the restaurant was very busy.
I'm from Dadeville but live in Birmingham now and Oskar's is my one of my first stops when I come home to visit. The food is AMAZING!!! They are well know for their chicken fingers and the special sauce that they have. They have a really good lunch special that do Mon-Fri from 10am-3pm. And on Wednesday's starting at 3pm they have wing night. Great place to go eat at if your every in the Lake Martin area.
Food was delicious and fresh. Service was above par. Owner came to our table several times in addition to regular server to check on us. We'll be back here for sure. Don't miss the popcorn shrimp.
Wonderful food, fantastic service and family atmosphere. We had a great time and the kids loved it. 5 stars really isn't nearly enough.
I wanted to try southern cooking and I sure did! Country fried steak was breaded deep fried hamburger. Served with hush puppies, baked beans and corn fritters. Be a long time till I eat southern cooking again.
